Mischief/Warrants/Impaired/Thefts/Break and Enter

MISCHIEF

On Saturday July 23, 2022 the St. Thomas Police attended 1 Password Park for a report of a mischief.  Sometime overnight on July 22, 2022 unknown person (s) damaged the wall mount for an AED.  This matter is under investigation and video will be reviewed.  If you have any information please contact the St. Thomas Police at 519-631-1224 or Crimestoppers. * 11471

WARRANTS

On Saturday July 23, 2022 a 40 year old male attended the St. Thomas Police station and turned himself in on an outstanding warrant for possession of of property obtained by crime and breach of probation.  The male was processed and released with a future court date.

Also on Saturday July 23, 2022 the St. Thomas Police arrested a 46 year old male on an outstanding bench warrant for assault x2 and mischief x 2. The male was processed and released with a future court date.

IMPAIRED DRIVER

On Saturday July 23, 2022 in the late afternoon an alert citizen observed a motor vehicle driving all over the road, driving the wrong way on one way streets and almost striking the citizen’s vehicle.  The St Thomas Police were contacted and the 26 year old female driver from St. Thomas was arrested for impaired driving.  The driver had almost three times the legal limit of alcohol in her system.  She was charged  with impaired operation and impaired operation with blood alcohol 80 plus.  She was processed and eventually released with a future court date.

THEFT

On Saturday July 23, 2022 the St. Thomas Police attended a local restaurant in relation to a theft.  An unknown male attended the restaurant and entered a delivery vehicle.  The suspect stole a debit machine from the vehicle.  Video is being reviewed.  If you have any information please contact the St. Thomas Police or Crimestoppers. *11507

BREAK AND ENTER

On Saturday July 23, 2022 the St. Thomas Police attended a local business for an alarm call.  Once staff attended and reviewed video it was learned that an unknown person entered the store and stole bicycle and a scooter and then fled.  The video is being reviewed and the matter is under investigation. THEFT

On Saturday July 23, 2022 the St. Thomas Police took a report of a stolen bicylce. The silver infinity had been locked and was taken from the complainant’s porch sometime overnight on July 22, 2022. If you have any information please contact the St. Thomas Police or Crimestoppers. *11516
