Mischief
A St. Thomas man has been charged with Mischief following an incident back in December. Police were called to an ATM vestibule on Talbot Street after an alarm was signaled. When Officers arrived they discovered one of the ATM machines had been damaged with a metal pole. Security video from the bank was obtained and the suspect was recorded on video damaging the machine. Police identified the suspect as thirty one year old Daniel Corlett. Corlett is now wanted on a warrant for one count Mischief to Property Over $5000 and two counts Breach of Release Conditions.
Vehicle Entries
A vehicle parked in the laneway of a home on Metcalfe street was entered sometime Sunday night. Some personal items were reported stolen.
A second vehicle was reported entered further down on Metcalfe street the same night. Nothing was reported stolen however the interior had been rummaged through.
A vehicle parked in the laneway of a home on Wellington street was damaged Sunday night when thieves tried to pry open the passenger side door. The vehicle was not entered and nothing was stolen.

Fraud
A St. Thomas man was recently victimized by a scam artist after being tricked into sending approximately $1500 dollars in gift cards to an unknown person. The victim received a message from on messenger encouraging him to take advantage of an opportunity to claim $150,000.00 by sending in a small deposit. The man purchased the gift cards and forwarded them to the scammer by taking pictures of the front and back after scratching off the claim code. Please be aware of scam messages and apply the rule that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Break and Enter
Two people are wanted after police discovered thieves had committed a break and enter to a storage unit on Wellington Street Monday. Suspects were identified as a forty two year old woman and a forty year old man both of St. Thomas. The couple are now wanted on charges of Break and Enter. The man is also accused of breaching his court ordered release conditions.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle
A gold coloured Chrysler 300 reported stolen from St. Thomas Monday has been recovered. Officers from the Oxford County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police discovered the vehicle abandoned in the county near Tillsonburg. Several parts had been stripped from the car.
Warrant
Forty year old Allen Slauenwhite of St. Thomas is wanted on a probation warrant by the St. Thomas Police Service. He is alleged to have failed to report to the John Howard Society Bail Supervision upon being released back into the community by the courts as per his court order. Youths Arrested
Three youths have been arrested and charged after causing several disturbances in the Southgate Parkway neighbourhood. All three were charged with Mischief to Property Under $5000 and Trespass by Night. In accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act all three will be given the opportunity to complete a diversion program.
