Mischief to home leaves residents displaced / Warrant executed for Assault suspect / St. Thomas Man Arrested for Break and Enter

MISCHIEF
On the 4th of January 2019, around 10:oo am, a fire alarm sounded in a north end multi-residential home resulting in the St. Thomas Fire Department and St. Thomas Police being called to the residence.  A 39 year old St. Thomas man was arrested at the home for causing mischief over five thousand dollars.  The investigation revealed the sprinkler system was tampered with by the man which caused the sprinkler system to go off on the second floor of the residence.  The home is occupied by approximately 46 residents who have been temporarily displaced due to damage caused by water.  There is yet to be an estimate of damage to the home.  The St. Thomas man is charged with mischief over $5000, possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of failing to comply with conditions of his probation.  The man was held in custody for a court appearance on the 5th of January 2019.
WARRANT

On the 4th of January 2019, a 41 year old St. Thomas man was arrested on a warrant for domestic related assault stemming from a New Years Eve incident.  The man was held for a court appearance on the 4th of January 2019 where he was released from custody and to appear at the end of the month to answer to the charges.

ST THOMAS MAN ARRESTED FOR BREAK AND ENTER

On the 5th of January 2019, at 6:30 am, St. Thomas Police arrested a 24 year old man on an outstanding warrant out of the City of London for break and enter / theft under five thousand dollars.  The man was brought to St. Thomas Police Service and eventually was transferred to to the custody of the London Police Service where he will make a court appearance on the 5th of January 2019.
