Warrant arrest

On Friday October 28, 2022 a young person attended the station to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant for arrest.  The young person was arrested and held for court.  The young person was released by the court with conditions. *17543


The victim reports that sometime over night on October 27, 2022 in the area of Mariam Street an unknown person attended the victims residence and stole 4 15 inch 235/75 R15 tires from the side of the home.  These tires were mounted on rims.  If anyone in the area observed someone with tires or any suspicious actions please contact STPS or Crime stoppers. *17551

Warrant arrest

On Friday October 28, 2022 Aylmer police  arrested a male who was wanted by St. Thomas police in Aylmer.  The male was released with a court date in the future. *17567


A lock box located on Talbot and Metcalfe street had been tampered with and keys from the lock box have been stolen.  Anyone with information is to contact STPS or Crime stoppers. *17570


On Thursday evening a vehicle was parked on Parkside Drive when an unknown person broke the back window of the vehicle.  Nothing was taken from the vehicle.  If you observed any suspicious behavior in the area or have surveillance video that shows the incident please contact STPS at 519-631-1224 or Crime stoppers. *17581

Theft of bicycle

A lime green and black Diadora Corsa mountain bike was taken from a business on Talbot Street.  The bike was locked up between the hours of 4pm and 7pm on Friday October 28, 2022.  If you observe the bike please contact police. *17597

Impaired driver

Police were contacted by a concerned citizen about a possible impaired driving leaving an establishment in the late hours of Friday October 28, 2022.  Police located the vehicle and spoke to the driver.  Police formed suspicion the driver was operating the vehicle with alcohol in her system and an approved screening device demand was made.  The female driver failed at the road side and was arrested for operating a vehicle with excess blood alcohol.  The female attended the station for breath testing and registered over the legal limit.  The female was released with a future court date. *17607
