On the 23rd of December 2022, police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Talbot Street in the area of Swiss Chalet. While speaking with one of the drivers, police observed obvious signs of impairment. As such, the driver completed standard field sobriety testing which they performed poorly on. The male driver was subsequently arrested and transported to St. Thomas Police Station where further testing was conducted. As a result of the investigation, a  29 year old London man has been charged with Operation while impaired.

On the 23rd of December 2022, a female wanted by the St. Thomas Police Service was arrested by the Elgin County OPP on the strength of the outstanding warrant. The female was transported to the St. Thomas Police Station where she was held for court.

On the 24th of December 2022, police responded to a south end residence regarding a domestic dispute. The involved female party was wanted on an outstanding bench warrant and was subsequently arrested. The female was released on an appearance notice with a future court date.
