Sexual Assault
On Friday, October 8, 2021, the St. Thomas Police arrested a male after investigating allegations of an assault, sexual assault and sexual interference. The male was transported to the St. Thomas Police Service where he was lodged into cells and later released with a future court date.
Ride Program
On Wednesday, October 13, 2021, the St. Thomas Police conducted a Ride Program. There were 228 vehicles checked which resulted in three HTA offences. Two of the offences were as a result of being a novice driver with a blood alcohol concentration above zero. One of the drivers had their licence suspended for 3 days.
Trespass
On Wednesday, October 13, 2021, officers on patrol located two individuals trespassing at 1Password Park. Both parties were warned for trespassing and one was give a ticket under the Cannabis Control Act.
Warrants
On Wednesday, October 13, 2021, officers attended an address in regards to a disturbance. During their investigation police determined that the two individuals involved currently had outstanding warrants. Both were arrested and transported to the St. Thomas Police where they were lodged into cells and later released with a future court date.
Theft
On Wednesday, October 13, 2021, officers attended an address on Talbot St regarding a theft from vehicle. Taken from inside the vehicle was the ownership and insurance slip. If you have any information regarding this please contact the St. Thomas Police Service at 519-631-1224.
Impaired
On Thursday, October 14, 2021, citizens alerted police to a possible impaired driver. Police located the vehicle and arrested the driver for impaired operation. The driver was transported to the St. Thomas Police where he registered over double the legal limit of blood alcohol concentration. The driver’s vehicle was towed for 7 days and his licence has been suspended for 90 days.
Theft
On Thursday, October 14, 2021, police attended an address on Wellington St to investigation a stolen bicycle. Stolen was a 24 inch youth black, red and blue Movelo Algonquin Bicycle. If you have any information please contact the St. Thomas Police at 519-631-1224.
