Media Release May 23rd, 2018

On 22MAY18 at approximately 2:30pm a 26-yr-old St. Thomas male entered the Foodland store and shoplifted $75.00 worth of merchandise. The male entered the store, took a shopping cart and went to the meat section with a reusable shopping bag. An observant cashier on duty at the time, confronted the male, the male then grabbed the reusable shopping bag and ran out the door past the working cashier. Moments later, police located the male where he was arrested and charged with theft.
The male was held in custody for a court date 23May/18.
