Break and Enter

Police are investigating a break and enter that occurred at St Thomas Cycles on Fifth Ave. The two suspects gained entry by prying open the door to an electrical room that is accessed from the roof of the business. The suspects stole approximately $25,000 in bicycles. The incident was captured on the stores’ CCTV. Recovered Stolen Vehicle

On Saturday morning police received a call from a concerned citizen regarding a suspicious vehicle that was parked in their apartment building lot. Police investigation revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen to the London Police Service. The vehicle was undamaged however; police observed evidence of illicit drug use inside. ST22019115.

Bail Violations

A warrant is being sought for a 32 year old local male following a police investigation that revealed he has been breaching the conditions of his release. The male is charged with Fail to Comply with Release Order and two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation. ST22019118.

Warrant Arrest

On Saturday members of the Oxford OPP arrested a 22 year old male on the strength of a St Thomas Police Service warrant. The male was wanted for failing to attend court in relation to 15 charges resulting from five separate incidents. Members of the STPS took over custody from OPP and transported the male to the Colin McGregor Building where he was later released by the courts. ST22019120.

Warrant Arrest

A 32 year old St Thomas male attended the police station on Saturday night to turn himself in after an investigation revealed he had been communicating with a person he is on conditions not to communicate with. The male was processed and subsequently released with a future court date. ST22019148.

Warrant Arrest

At approximately 1:45am on Sunday, police conducted a traffic stop after observing a Highway Traffic Act offence. While speaking with the driver, police learned the 49 year old male was wanted following a shoplifting incident that occurred at Walmart. The male was arrested without incident and released with a future court date. ST22019160.
