Media Release for Sunday, August 7th

Theft – ST22012394

Police are investigating the theft of an e-bike from an address on Chestnut Street.  An unknown suspect stole a 2017 black Ammo e-bike from the front of the building sometime between 12:00p.m. and 8:30p.m on August 6th.  If you have any information regarding the theft or know the whereabouts of the e-bike please call STPS at 519-631-1224 or www.stthomas-elgincrimestoppers.

Warrant Arrest – ST22012398

On the 6th of August a 25 year old male from St. Thomas was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant.  The male was located by members of the Elgin County OPP.  The warrant was for one count of assault and one count of assault with a weapon.  The male was transported to the St. Thomas Police Service and was held in custody for a court appearance.

Warrant Arrest –ST22012400

On the 6th of August a 44 year old female from St. Thomas was arrested on an outstanding warrant.  The warrant is in relation to one count breaching a probation order.  The female was arrested without incident and released from custody with a future court date.

Warrant Arrest – ST22012401

On the 6th of August a 43 year old female from St. Thomas was arrested on an outstanding warrant.  The warrant is in relation to one count of operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited.  The female was arrested without incident and released from custody with a future court date.

Warrant Arrest – ST22012404

On the 6th of August a 47 year old female from St. Thomas was arrested on three outstanding warrants.  The warrants are in relation to one count of break and enter, one count of theft under $5000 and one count of possession of identity documents.  The female was arrested without incident and held in custody for a court appearance.

Warrant Arrest – ST22012408

On the 6th of August a 46 year old male from St. Thomas was arrested on an outstanding warrant.  The warrant is in relation to one count of breaching a probation order, one count of fraud under $5000, and one count of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.  The male was arrested without incident and held in custody for a court appearance.
