Recovered stolen bicycle

On April 4th, officers took a report of a bike theft that took place in the Lake Margaret area.  Officers on Community Patrol located the bike leaning against a building on Talbot Street and recognized it as being the stolen bike.  On May 27th, the bike was returned to the rightful owner.  *7861/ 4810

Stolen e-bike

Sometime overnight on May 26th, an e-bike was stolen from outside an apartment building on East Street.  The e-bike is described as being black in colour, similar look to a scooter with bicycle sized tires and a small battery pack.  The make and model are unknown but it can fold in half.  It has an LED light on the front and rear brake light.  If anyone sees this e-bike please call the St Thomas Police at 519-631-1224.  *7873


On May 29th, a 65 year old man was arrested and charged with assault after being involved in an altercation with his partner.  He was taken into custody and brought to the Colin McGregor building.  He was later released on an Undertaking.  *7971


A 50 year old female was arrested on May 29th after she was identified as the suspect involved in a theft at the Bulk Barn that occurred on April 11th which was caught on video surveillance cameras.  She was later released on an Undertaking.  *7992

A 37 year old male who was currently wanted on an outstanding Bench Warrant after he failed to attend court was arrest in the evening of May 29th.  Officers were dealing with the man on an unrelated matter when it was discovered he was wanted.  He was later released on an Appearance Notice.  *8003

R.I.D.E. Program

Officers from the St Thomas Police Service conducted a R.I.D.E. program on Sunday night and as a result a 46 year old female was arrested and charged with Impaired operation of a conveyance.  The results of breath tests taken at the police station following her arrest determined her blood/ alcohol concentration was more than double the legal limit.  * 8007/ 8008
