Media Release for July 10th, 2022

Theft

The St Thomas Police are investigating the theft of an E-bike.  The bike was stolen sometime overnight on July 8th where it was locked to a fence on Highview Drive.  The suspect(s) cut the locks in order to steal the bike.  It is described as a 26” black Daymak Wild Goose with orange saddle bags attached to both sides.  ST22010607

Break and Enter

An apartment on Ross Street was broken into on July 6th and electronics and bedding were stolen.  Officers are currently investigating and viewing video surveillance from the area in attempts to identify the suspects.  ST22010663

Impaired

On July 9th at around 11pm a 34 year-old St Thomas woman was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle after a citizen reported the vehicle driving erratically.  She was brought back to the Colin McGregor building for further breath tests where it was determined her blood alcohol concentration was over the legal limit.  She was charged with impaired operation as well as blood alcohol concentration 80 Plus.  She was later released on an Appearance Notice.  ST22010665
