Caller Arrested
Officers arrested a thirty seven year old St. Thomas man after he called police to a disturbance at his John Street apartment Friday evening around 6:30 pm.  When officers arrived at the address there was no disturbance in progress and the caller was located outside on the street.  While speaking to police, the man took his hands out of his front pockets and a baggie containing 2.8 grams of cocaine fell to the ground.  He was arrested and is now charged with one count of Drug Possession.  The man was later released on a Promise to Appear in Court.
Domestic
A twenty four year old St. Thomas man was arrested by officers Saturday September 1st just before midnight.  Police were called to an apartment by a twenty eight year old female after she was assaulted by her former boyfriend.  The two had a verbal argument that escalated and became physical.  The man left before officers arrived however he was located a short distance away.  No injuries were reported during the incident.  The man is now charged with one count of Domestic Assault, one count Domestic Mischief and two counts Breach of Probation.  He was held in custody at the Colin McGregor Justice Building for Court the next day.
Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest
A thirty four year old St. Thomas man wanted for several offences was arrested during a traffic stop Sunday September 2nd.  Officers had stopped the vehicle on Aldborough Ave around 11:15 pm for an unrelated traffic offence when they recognized the male riding in the back seat.  The man was taken into custody without incident and is now charged with one count of Possession of Stolen Property, one count Theft Under $5000 and two counts Breach of Conditions.

A twenty six year old St. Thomas man was arrested Monday September 3rd around 6:30 pm after officers observed him riding his bike on Manitoba Street.  The man was wanted in connection to a break and enter that occurred to a shed at the Knights of Columbus building last month.  The man was identified after he was recorded on security video breaking into the shed.  As a result he is charged with one count Break and Enter, one count of Mischief and one count of Possession of Break and Enter Tools.  He was held in custody at the Colin McGregor Justice Building for court the next morning

A fifty nine year old man was arrested Monday September 3rd after concerned neighbours called police to report a disturbance in the street.  The man was having a verbal argument with his forty one year old estranged girlfriend who he is currently on conditions not to communicate with.  Officers arrived and took the male into custody without incident.  He was found to be in possession of .9 grams of crystal methamphetamine.  As a result he is now charged with one count of Drug Possession and three count of Breach of Conditions.  The man was held in custody at the Colin McGregor Justice Building for Court the next day.

A fifty three year old male was arrested Monday September 3rd around 6:30 pm after a concerned citizen contacted police after witnessing a man assault his forty three year old girlfriend.  The man was already on three separate court orders not to communicate with the female.  The man was taken into custody without incident and held in cells at the Colin McGregor Justice Building overnight for court.  He is charged with one count of Domestic Assault and three counts of Breach of Probation.
