Vehicle Entry Leads to Charges
Police have arrested and charged a 36 year old St. Thomas man after an investigation into a vehicle being entered on June 19th.  The 36 year old has been charged with one count of Mischief under $5000, one count of Possession of Property Obtained by crime under $5000 and one count of Theft under $5000.  The man is set to make an appearance in July on these charges.
3 Men Rounded Up After Warrants Issued For Their Arrest
Thursday night proved busy for officers on patrol in the city.  3 individuals all wanted on separate charges were arrested and held for court.  The first of the three had been arrested by Nottawasaga OPP earlier in the day and was transported to St. Thomas.  The 52 year old Woodstock man will appear in court today, charged with Fraud Over $5000 and Making a false statement for payment of money.
Two St. Thomas men, wanted on separate warrants were also arrested Thursday night.  The first, a 35 year old, was arrested after a Bench Warrant was issued for his arrest when he failed to appear for court.  He was held and will make an appearance today in St. Thomas court.  The second, a 32 year old, was arrested after a Probation Warrant was issued for his arrest.  This individual was currently at large on probation but breached a condition of the order.  He was held and will appear in court today as well.
3 Separate Thefts Lead To 3 Separate Charges, 1 Person Remains at Large
60 year old James Snow, of St. Thomas, was arrested after he allegedly helped himself money from inside a parked vehicle at an east end business.  Shortly after 9 pm officers responded to the business after the male was observed entering a parked vehicle and removing the cash.  Eye witnesses directed officers to the man and he was arrested.  Snow is currently at large on two separate release orders and was therefore held for a court appearance today.
32 year old Justin Boutillier, of St. Thomas, was arrested yesterday following an allegation that he had stolen a T.V from a local residence.  The television was recovered and returned to its rightful owner.  Boutillier was released from custody with a future court date.
48 year old, Loretta Havell of St. Thomas, is currently wanted for Theft under $5000.  An investigation that started on June 21, 2019 alleged that Havell entered an east end business, selected numerous items and failed to pay.  Havell is believed to still be in St. Thomas, although attempts to locate her thus far have been unsuccessful.
