On Friday May 18th, 2018 a male attended a local business where he was seeking approval for a store credit card. The documentation presented by the male didn’t add up and seemed suspicious and police were contacted. Police were able to determine that the identification was fictitious and subsequently arrested the male from Toronto. He was charged with Utter forged document, 3 counts for Fraud under $5000 and possession of a controlled substance.
On Friday May 18th, 2018 shortly after 8pm, police were alerted by loss prevention at a local store in regard to a shoplifter who fled the area. After a short foot chase and the assistance of the St. Thomas K-9 a 28 year old male was arrested for Theft under $5000, Breach of Undertaking and Breach of Probation.
Also on Friday May 18th, 2018 a 40 year old male was arrested and charged with Theft under after it was learned he stole a bike.
Further, just before midnight on Friday May 18th, 2018 police were called about a male breaking the front window of a downtown business. A witness provided a description and police located the 33 year old male and charged him with Mischief.
During the early morning of Saturday May 19th, police responded to a local church who reported mischief to windows. Unknown person(s) caused the damage during the night.
