Domestic Related Charges
A thirty three year old St. Thomas man already charged with domestic related offences was arrested by police yesterday after he attended his ex girlfriends apartment against his court order to stay away. Police received a 911 call from a female around 2 pm Thursday stating that her ex boyfriend was at her apartment. The man had fled prior to police arrival but was located a short distance away on Inkerman street. As a result the man is now charged with one count Unlawfully in a Dwelling Place, one count Forcible Entry and two counts of Breach of Recognizance. The man was held in custody for a court appearance.
Theft Under
A thirty five year old female was arrested last night on Scott Street around 8 pm after she stole a bag of cookie from the Foodland Grocery Store. The female had entered the store, selected the cookies, hid them in her bag and left without making any attempt to pay. Staff recognized the female from previous shoplifting incidents at the store and contacted police. As a result the woman was charged with one count of Theft Under $5000 and one count of Breach of Probation.
