A thirty four year old male driver has been fined $490 and six demerit points for disobeying the stop bar and flashing lights of a school bus. The incident occurred yesterday morning on the north end of Burwell Rd. when the driver approached a stopped school bus and passed the bus from behind while the stop lights were activated. Witnesses called in the violation with description and licence plate of the vehicle. Police were able to collect statements and charged the driver later that same day.
