A fifty one year old man was arrested last night around 6 pm by officers for Domestic Assault. Police were called by his fifty four year old girlfriend after a verbal argument between the two became physical. As a result the man was charged with two counts of Assault and one count Utter Threats. During the arrest police located thirty four grams of cannabis on the accused and further charged him with one count Drug Possession. The man was later released on a Promise to Appear in Court.
