Update to Break and Enter:
The truck stolen during a break and enter to Kettle Creek Landscaping last week has been recovered. The white F250 vehicle was found in Talbotville over the weekend on Saturday abandoned on the Talbotville Gore Road. PSD Axle attended the scene and followed a scent track to a residence on Ford Road where a second vehicle was discovered stolen. Police are now looking for a green Toyota Rav 4. A personalized licence plate JAIMEE was attached to it at the time of the theft. Wanted party James Alexander Brown 36 years of age from St. Thomas is the suspect in the theft. Police have received information that the vehicle along with Brown were spotted in the Sarnia area. Domestic
A thirty year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after an argument with his thirty three year old estranged girlfriend became physical. The two were arguing Monday September 2nd around noon at the man’s residence when he took the woman by the back of the head and pushed her into a wall. She was able to leave the home and call police. The man turned himself in later the same day at the Colin McGreogor Justice Building. He was charged on count Assault and later released on a Promise to Appear in Court. No injuries were reported.
Warrant
A twenty seven year old St. Thomas woman was arrested yesterday afternoon around 2 pm in London by London Police. Officers were dealing with the woman on an unrelated matter when they discovered she was wanted on a warrant by St. Thomas Police. The woman was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Justice Building where she was held for court. The warrant was issued after the woman failed to attend her court date to answer to charges of Possession of Stolen Property and Use Stolen Credit Card in relation to a theft from vehicle reported back in February.
Stolen Bike
Police are investigating after a blue and grey mountain bike was stolen from a Scott Street residence sometime Sunday night. The bike was locked up under a carport attached to the home near the intersection of St. George Street when thieves took it. Narcan Administered
A twenty nine year old St. Thomas woman was administered Narcan by Officers and transported to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Monday afternoon around 3 pm. Citizens contacted police after seeing the woman having a seizure inside a bank ATM vestibule on Talbot near Elgin Street. When police arrived they discovered the woman unconscious on the floor. Officers had to break the glass door to gain entry to administer first aid as the woman had locked the door from the inside. Narcan was administered and the woman regained consciousness.
Stolen Bike
Police are investigating after an antique tandem bike was stolen from the back yard of a residence on Park Avenue between Mary Bucke and Chestnut Streets. The bike went missing sometime over the weekend and is described as an older, antique style two seater maroon in colour.
