Break and Enter, Theft, Breach

Break and Enter – ST22015831

Police are investigating a break and enter overnight between September 29th and September 30th in the 200 block of First Avenue.  Unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked shed and stole several items.  One of the items was a Specialized bicycle, which was recovered in the area of Pullen Street and Francis Street.  If you have any information about this incident or saw anything suspicious in the area, please contact STPS at 519-631-1224 or www.stthomas-elgincrimestoppers.ca

Theft – ST22015844

A fifty-one-year-old female from Southwold was arrested Friday afternoon.  The female stole a purse from inside a business on Edward Street and fled the area.  Officers on Community Patrol located the female without incident and recovered the property.  The female was charged with theft under $5000 and obstruct peace officer and was released with a future court date.

Theft – ST22015852

A sixty-three-year-old male from St. Thomas was arrested Friday afternoon on Sunset Drive.  The male entered an unattended vehicle and stole some personal items.  The male was charged with theft under $5000, breach of probation order and breach of undertaking.  The male was later released with a future court date.

Breach – ST22015885

A sixty-seven-year-old male from St. Thomas was arrested Friday evening while police were investigating a disturbance on the eastside of St. Thomas.  The male was located in the company of an individual he was on conditions not to associate with.  He was taken into custody without incident and held for a court appearance.
