Break And Enter/Possession of Stolen Property/Warrant Arrest

Break and Enter

On Friday February 19th police were called to a Hincks Street address for a report of a business break and enter, which had occurred sometime since Wednesday evening.  If anyone has any information in regard to this occurrence you can call the St. Thomas Police Service at (519) 631-1224 and reference incident number ST21002517.

Possession of Stolen Property

Also on Friday February 19th, police arrested a 39 year old male for two counts of Possession of Stolen Property under $5000 and Trafficking in Stolen Property under $5000.  As a result, police were able to recover property stolen from a break and enter last year and return it to the owner.  The male was released from custody with a future court date.

Further, on Saturday February 20th, thirty three year old Frances Forsyth was arrested for Theft Under $5000 and Breach of Release Conditions for stealing over six hundred dollars worth of fragrances from a pharmacy Tuesday night.  She was also identified as being responsible for a theft earlier Saturday morning from a convenience store.   She was held in custody pending a morning court appearance.

Lastly, a 40 year old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant early Saturday morning.  An Order of Committal also existed and he was transferred to the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre.
