Assault & Threats/ Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charges

As the result of ongoing neighbour issues in a north end apartment, a 33 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested and charged with Assault with a Weapon, Uttering Threats and four counts of Breach of Probation. The incidents included the accused verbally threatening the victims and swinging a golf club at them. The accused was held in custody for court.
Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charges
On Sunday March 11, 2018 at around 10:00 pm the St. Thomas Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Fifth Ave and Erie St. The traffic stop lead to the 18 year old male driver being charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and several Highway Traffic Act violations. The passenger in the vehicle an 18 year old male was also charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance. The males were released with a future court date.
