Arrest
Forty three year old Michael William Hansen of St. Thomas was arrested in an alley way just north of Talbot Street on Friday afternoon around 4 pm.  Hansen was wanted on a warrant for Breach of Release Conditions after he was not home when officers attended his residence to conduct a curfew check last week.  Hansen was transported to the Elgin County Court House for an appearance.
Arrest
A thirty two year old female wanted on a warrant for Breach of Release Conditions turned herself in at the Colin McGregor Justice Building Saturday around the noon hour.  The woman was processed and later released on a Promise to Appear in Court next month.
Seat Belt Tickets
Officers from the St. Thomas Police Service conducted a seat belt inspection check point Saturday afternoon.  Approximately two hundred drivers were stopped and two tickets were issued for failing to wear a seat belt.  The fine for not wearing a seat belt is $240 and two demerit points.  STPS urge everyone to buckle up for safety!
