Arrests

Two men wanted on warrants were arrested by officers on Talbot Street around 2 am this morning.  The incident began when police received a call of two men smoking cannabis products in an alley on Talbot Street.  When officers arrived they located the men walking eastbound near Manitoba Street.  One of the men, a thirty one year old was wanted on a warrant for Breach of Probation by STPS.  The second,twenty nine year old man was wanted on a warrant by London Police Service.  Both men were taken into custody with out incident.  The first man was released on a Promise to Appear in Court and the second was transported to LPS for processing.
A twenty five year old female attend the station around 6:30 am this morning to turn herself in to police.  The woman was wanted on two separate warrants from STPS. Both warrants were for Theft Under $5000 for two separate shoplifting incidents back on June 26th and June 30th.  The accused had been recorded on security video stealing from stores and was identified by police through the electronic image recorded on the video.  She was taken into custody with out incident and held at the Colin McGregor Justice Building for court later in the day.
