Arrest Warrant
On Friday April 27, 2018 the St. Thomas Police were advised by the Barrie Police Service that they had arrested an 18 year old male on an outstanding warrant out of St. Thomas. The warrant stems from an incident that occurred in January 2018, where the accused threatened another male and also breached conditions of his probation. The 18 year old accused was returned to St. Thomas on charges of Uttering Threats and Breach of Probation. He was held for court.
Threats & Breach
On April 27, 2018 in the afternoon hours, a 24 year old St. Thomas male reported to the St. Thomas Police that he had received a threatening phone call from a 27 year old female. This female was also on conditions not to communicate with the male. As a result of the investigation, the 27 year old female is charged with one count of Uttering Threats and one count of Breach of Undertaking.
Theft & Breach
On Friday April 27, 2018 the St. Thomas Police attended a west end residence with regards to a report of a stolen CCM AL170 black mountain bike. Investigation revealed the bike had been taken from the property by another resident who lives in the building. On April 29, 2018 the accused returned to the residence without the bike and was not able to provide information about where it could be located. The 28 year old male who is currently on probation was arrested and charged with one count of Theft Under $5000 and one count of Breach of Probation. He was released with a future court date. The stolen bike was not recovered.
