Arrest
A seventeen year old wanted on a warrant has been arrested in connection to a Break and Enter to an empty warehouse on Woodworth Avenue a few nights ago.  The youth attended the Colin McGregor Justice Building last night around 6:30 pm to turn himself in.  Further investigation has implicated the youth to a second break and enter to an office on CN Rail Property.  The youth is now charged with two counts of Break, Enter and Theft.  He was released on a Promise to Appear in Court.  The identity of the youth is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Assault
St. Thomas Police arrested a forty six year old man last evening after an assault at a downtown restaurant.  A forty three year old male was a patron at the restaurant when he was approached by the accused.  The two are known to each other.  The accused confronted the patron, swatted his baseball cap off his head and pushed him back into the booth he was sitting in.  The confrontation was unprovoked.  As a result the accused is charged with one count of Assault and was released on a Promise to Appear in Court.
